Akbarova Salikhat suffers from diabetes. The woman has been living with this disease for many years. Scheduled examinations and treatment kept her body in a normal state.

But in 2020, Salikhat's husband suffered a stroke. Due to the stress, the woman began to rapidly lose her eyesight.

Unfortunately, diabetes leads to diabetic retinopathy. This is such a lesion of the vessels of the fundus, which, in turn, leads to deterioration of vision and the development of blindness.

For 2 years, Salikhat carried out the treatment prescribed by doctors, but all to no avail. One eye of a woman no longer sees completely.

She needs urgent surgery. The cost of the operation is high. Salikhat's pension is barely enough for medicines and food. Without the help of caring people, she will not be able to cope.
